Growing up in Vista with his brother Damon, and left much to his won devices, he was free to ride
motorcycles, shoot guns, skate, and fine tune his skills on and off his skateboard. With a head for business led by his heart, he’s brought companies he’s ridden for up with him, leaving a legacy with each partnership. As a professional skateboarder for the past 20 years and one of the most dedicated athletes in any sport, Danny lives life on his own terms.
Famously tough as nails, injuries that would end careers only seem to feed Danny’s will to overcome them – he’s proof that all is, in fact, mind over matter. Just a few of his accomplishments include breaking the World Record for Biggest Air with a twelve-foot kickflip (1997), breaking his own Biggest Air record, at 23.5 feet (2003), breaking his Long Distance Jump record with a distance of 79 feet (2004), the only skater to win Thrasher’s Skater of the Year, twice (1991 and 2004), he was the first person to jump the Great Wall of China on a skateboard (2005), and the first to drop from the top of the guitar at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Casino from a height of 82 feet (2006), just to name a few – and he’s not done yet.
